Kyokan (巨幹) — Artist-Styled 10+ Year Chinese Elm Bonsai (Dai Size)
Kyokan (巨幹), meaning “Massive Trunk,” is a distinctive Chinese Elm bonsai named for the exceptionally broad, powerful trunk that defines its design. At least 10 years old and styled by renowned bonsai artists, this one-of-a-kind Dai-size specimen carries substantial visual weight from its base through its compact crown.
The deeply textured trunk divides into a dense network of refined branches, supporting fine serrated foliage and fresh green growth. Its established framework and sculptural proportions make the tree especially compelling from both full-tree and close-detail views.
