Kyoboku (巨木) — 25+ Year Streblus asper Yamadori (Dai Size)

Kyoboku (巨木), meaning “Giant Tree,” is an exceptional Streblus asper yamadori named for its massive, weathered base and commanding old-tree proportions. Aged at least 25 years, several powerful trunk sections rise from the broad base to create the scale and presence of an ancient tree in nature.

Above the base, an extensive network of trained and wired branches supports a broad canopy of compact foliage. The open branch structure reveals the tree’s age, taper and movement while preserving a strong, balanced silhouette.
